Frequently Asked Questions
What are your hours?
Being a concierge nurse, I do not have set hours. I work for you and your needs! I am always available via phone Monday- Friday 8am-8pm. I currently have limited hours Friday through Sunday due to still working at the hospital.
How far do you travel?
I travel up to an hour away from my home base of Edwardsville IL.
How does a facility consult work?
If the consult is in hospital for goals of care or advanced care planning we can set up a time for the doctors to speak with everyone. If the consult is for ensuring patient is getting the best patient centered care, that can be done anytime. I will see the patient and relay information to the care team such as what do they like or dislike. I can give advice on how to make their room more comforting.
Are you insured?
Yes! I have professional and general liability, and commercial auto insurance. I hold an active Illinois and Missouri RN license.
Do you accept insurance or HSA?
I do not accept insurance. Currently I am only able to take private pay and HSA. I work with each client individually to create an affordable plan.
Do you provide a doctor?
I do not work with a medical director. Client’s must have a doctor for things that require it such as wound changes, tube feedings, medication administration. There are many things I can help with without a provider such as health care directives, transportation assistance, elder independence education, wellness visits, and facility consults.
